MK Dons is proud to be able to show its support for Stonewall's Rainbow Laces campaign across the Club’s fixtures this weekend.
The campaign aims to create a broader, louder and more impactful movement for LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, with the hope that every conversation will move a step closer to achieving the ambition of making sport everyone’s game.
Saturday’s visit of Wycombe Wanderers has been designated as the Club’s Rainbow Laces fixture while the MK Dons Women will be showing their support when they make the trip to Ipswich Town on Sunday.
Stadium MK will highlight the Club’s continued support for the LGBT+ community, with the use of rainbow corner flags and captain armband as well as rainbow messaging and branding on the big screens and LED boards.
For 2022, Stonewall is championing the cause with pride all year round. Because inclusion has no off-season. More than a million people have laced up in support of LGBTQ+ equality in sport but many still feel unwelcome in sport, fitness, and physical activity. Now we need to speak up with those around us. We must ensure we are championing the cause with pride all year round. Not just when the cameras are on. Because inclusion has no off-season.
